Your Inner Child’s Nostalgic Favorite - Upgraded!
Rice crispy treats are a timeless classic, but when you bring Mush-Melo into the mix, they transform into some next level (and best of all you can ditch those sketchy big box ingredients). This recipe leans into everything you love: chewy texture, buttery richness, and that signature stringy marshmallow pull when you tear off a piece - to share!
The magic happens as the marshmallows melt into the cereal, binding everything together into soft, gooey squares with just the right amount of crunch. A hint of vanilla enhances the sweetness, while a punch of salt keeps things balanced. It’s simple, satisfying, and endlessly snackable.
What cereal works best for crispy treats?
A classic crispy rice cereal will never miss, but keep an eye out for the organic “knockoff” from those tired old elves we all know - it’s just not the same. That being said, this recipe works with all sorts of cereals, so get creative and have some fun while you’re at it.
